Be part of the welcome

Someone who has just moved home needs a new dentist, a new vet, a new barber and someone to fix the boiler. They have not picked anyone yet.

Every month, The Welcome Post goes to households that have just moved into the area. Each edition features a small number of local businesses, each with a welcome offer for their new neighbours.

How it works

• One business per trade. Once a trade is taken in an area, we do not feature anyone else in that trade while you are with us.
• A full page in every edition. Your photo, a short write-up, your details and your welcome offer. We write it and you approve it before it goes to print.
• Your offer online too. It also goes on our page for the area, so people can find it again long after the booklet has gone in a drawer.
• Your own QR code. Every scan is counted, and you get a short report each month.
• On the bin page every week. Each household gets a fridge magnet that shows their bin day when they scan it. While you are featured, your business is on that page too.
